My friend Rick has a growing aortic aneurism, and he and his wife Maureen will be flying to Houston on Labor Day to have his aorta replaced by a gortex tube on Thursday the 4th. This is a risky surgery -- a triple bypass is routine by comparison. The 3 cardiologists he consulted with unanimously agree he has to have this surgery immediately, and preferably at the Baylor University Heart Institute in Houston where they do more of this type of surgery than anywhere else in the country.

I would like prayer for an 18 year old named Brianna. She was kicked out of her mother's house, without a car. She is living in a bad situation and needs a car to get a job.

John called and asked to have his wife Margaret placed on the prayer list. She fell yesterday and broke her hip, she is in the hospital now and will be having surgery to replace her hip. She is in great pain and needs our prayers.
